Careers are like chariots - you've either got the reins - or you haven't (Think Ben Hur!)

Career Review Programme

  • a catalyst for generating new career goals
  • a proactive approach
  • an end to procrastinating
  • objective, realistic  yet empowering feedback
  • structure for decisions and change
  • allocated time in reflection
  • a clearer perspective on who you are
  • the beginnings of new ideas
  • a tool for growing self awareness
  • a provisional career shortlist produced
  • an examination of what balance in life means or why it may be missing

Sometimes battling on alone with your career is not the answer. Seeking expert confidential and objective input may seem a big step but can make a huge difference.

There is a saying "do what you've always done - get what you've always got". To effect change for the better in general something has to be done differently. If you feel stuck in making it happen - the Career Review Programme offers a system for achieving that.

Get the pieces of the career jigsaw in place

Is there anything I need to do before joining?
No  - but we recommend that you allocate a minimum of 8 hours over the 14 days after you intend to join.

What will the review do for me?
The review helps career decision making on a number of fronts
  • the re-evaluation process will have begun - an end to procrastination
  • greater clarity about what you think your career is or could be
  • enhanced self knowledge
  • a provisional shortlist of options for further discussion/researching
  • we learn in detail about what makes you tick in order to provide appropriate response
  • you'll get a written report summarising what we have gleaned from your efforts
  • a telephone follow up discussion where we decide what has been achieved thus far and define possible next steps

For some people this is enough and for others it is not. Those who have completed the Review satisfactorily yet require more help tend to book a series of coaching sessions to keep up momentum and explore things in more depth.

Can I do another review if I have done one before?
Yes - some people do one annually and occasionally couples or teams do one together.
