We aim to get you to "stop", take stock and to spend some planning and thinking time. The review is structured in a way that brings out vital information that underpins good well planned decision making.

Our invaluable in put and "sounding board" allows you to gain confidence in the decisions and gain a clear idea of where you want to head and why. In short we add clarity and conviction and vision to careers.

What is the Review
It is a structured yet creative, flexible programme giving clear starting points for constructive career thinking whether you seek radical, medium or minor career changes.

It comprises 4 main phases

1 A preliminary exploration call 
2 Preparation & audit phase
  • workbook which you return  6-8 hours over two weeks
  • a guide
  • some audio MP3s​
3Reflection phase
  • you receive a 4-5 page summary report 
4 Discussion phase
  • a 55 minute phone call
The 3 main outcomes:

A  the Review has been enough to encourage your existing plans or..
B  more discussion is needed before concrete plans can be made or...
C  something else has to transpire before further in depth career planning can be tackled
The workbook
Having started out as a simple two page form we quickly realised in our early days that we needed a lot more information about an individual before we could offer truly tailored feedback. It is now 34 pages.

The purpose of the workbook :
  • protected time for career thinking
  • puts career concerns into some structure 
  • documents basic and deeper issues impacting on your career ( but much more than  CV could ever do) 
  • allows you to articulate dreams 
  • no dreams?  the workbook winkles them out
  • There are sections you will enjoy and those you will not - but all are relevant
  • we use different approaches to uncovering the same information because some work better than others for each individual
  • we find out what makes you tick so that we can avoid the equivalent of "prescribe without taking a history" and stop kneejerk career decisions

The follow up
The summary report is our view on your situation and what you have written in the workbook. There may be lightbulb moments, surprise or even a salient corroboration of something you have known for a while but have not been clear about. There may be revelations but that is not our primary aim. 

The workbook gives us a really good grasp of where you are right now, how you got there...things like your skills, personality, ambitions and more as well as the beginnings of glimpses into where you might like to go or why you may not be getting there. Our summary reflects this all back to you in a way that takes stuck thinking forwards and provides useful shared information for the follow up call.

The follow up call  is 55 minutes.  We establish if we are both agreed that the summary is an accurate reflection of things and then to define any next steps or avenues to pursue.

This call covers next steps in planning for some - but for others it shows there is more to discuss  - in which case ongoing career coaching sessions can be booked as needed ( additional cost).
