Why a Career Review first
Many people ask if they can jump straight to the Personal Career Programme. The answer is no.
This is because prior to attending the face to face PCP it is vital that both you and we have done some structured preparation.
Without the Review the first half or more of the PCP is wasted on very basic information gathering. In addition some people do not need a PCP after a Review because the Review has been enough.
The Review ensures that we both come to any face to face meeting with agreed and shared viewpoints on your career, a clear agenda and some good ideas of where to start. It ensures that we hit the ground running at that meeting and make the best use of our time together - i.e. in action planning and resolving career concerns.
