Study to win

This e-course focuses on the skills and techniques of how to study well. Making the time to study does not come naturally to everyone and studying while working or once you have a family makes it even harder. It won't surprise you to know that the top skill for getting through "tests" is that of "studying effectively". It is also important to remember that keeping up with literature and current guidelines is becoming more important for everyone throughout their career and few have sufficient time to do it. Thus there are many learning situations where a honed approach to study would save time and effort.

Given that most of us have many other things demanding our time - it is vital that when one is actually attempting to study - the process is as efficient as possible. It is all too easy to spend many actual hours thinking you are studying (ie in book staring mode) but without using your time effectively and with not that much retention considering the hours you have put in.

This course is most effective when started a minimum of three months prior to the exam in question (if there is one) and is not really designed as an aid to last minute cramming (although we have a course of this nature in the pipeline). You can best use "study to win" as a way of improving your ability to study over time
