Sonia Hutton-Taylor

Has been public speaking on career guidance innovations since starting Medical Forum in 1990 following on from a school and university penchant for doing poetry, music, acting and buffoonery in medical school reviews.

Transmits infectious enthusiasm for anything relating to her pet subject "how to forge the career you need".
Having worked for 14 years in medical career guidance and having started from "first principles" rather than copying existing career guidance teaching she has devised a process or methodology of looking at careers which is applicable to anyone in any profession or industry as well as providing a revolution in how to train people to deliver career guidance to others.

Became a certified toastmaster in 2000
Completed stand up comedy course in 1999
Largest group spoken too so far 160 - but welcomes larger!
Uses humour in her presentations - believes career planning should be fun not funereal!
Uses powerpoint, props, acting, humour, group exercises in all presentations.
Experienced facilitator
Strong emphasis on empowering the individual to take the reigns of their career
Loves difficult questions

After hearing her speak -  people tend to take more responsibility and action on their careers because she demystifies the career choice, decision, change, planning process and shows clear starting points, tricks, tips and pitfalls to avoid.
