It is not easy to chart ones way through over 80 different career options in medicine. There are mainstream traditional careers, non clinical options, non traditional career routes and even non healthcare related career options open to doctors. To make it more complex there are many "bolt on" extra roles one can incorporate within a core career.

Where does one start? What process should one go through in order to gain a shortlist of "possibles"? Is it important to have a career dream? How can one make good career decisions?

This workshop will explore the vital issues to address in effective career planning and enable you to feel more confident in plotting your career course.

Possibly hundreds if not thousands of doctors are wondering where their next job will be and even those who have a job concerned about their security. This workshop will be empowering - whether or not someone intends to remain in clinical roles for the time being or permanently.

The biggest sources of security are not inherent within any job but stem from within the individual... self knowledge, understanding of the market place, what you have to offer and how to sell it.

This workshop will take you through the process of examining your drives, dreams, potential and options. It will not assume you are wanting to leave your medical career but nor will it assume you will stay.

Find new self confidence in yourself and build your own security.
