This e-course is designed to help focus your mind on sources of stress in your life and steps you can take to combat these sources and the feelings of stress. Some of the information you will have heard before but when in a stressed state - mild or extreme - it is a good idea to be reminded of some simple facts, the responsiblity you have to address your stress and why it is so valuable to take the trouble to do this.
Stress creates its own vicious circle and it is hard to break out of it without some external support, structure to follow or a catalyst. This course is the starting block. If you are currently experiencing excess stress in your life it will be quite an achievement even to allocate the ten minutes a day for ten days that this course will require. However - if you summon your reserve to do this - we believe you will soon have things under control again.
Incidentally - one of the first steps in any career development or planning is to tackle existing stress levels. This is vital because the creative thinking that needs to go on in order to envision and make new career challenges happen - is vastly enhanced by having a clear and calm mind. Conversely it can be almost impossible to see a way forwards or weigh up possible solutions when one is stressed. Similarly "change" of any kind when you are stressed can be quite threatening whereas being the instigator of change when you are not stressed can be uplifting.
