Career Renewal & Evaluation Programme (C.R.E.P.)
This has been developed primarily for consultants and well established general practitioners or GDPs .....indeed, any professional who has forged a successful career pathway only to find that it does not sustain full engagement over years.
After years in practice (sometimes not that many!) there is need to generate some new challenges and regenerate enthusiam.This can arise even when person is thriving in their current career.
Joining this programme certainly doesn't mean changing career is mandatory as exploring ones potential,options and dreams can feel reassuring,re-energising and refreshing even if only a relatively minor change or addition to a career results.
The key aims of this programme...
- to facilitate the individual to work through how they got where they are,
- establish their daily and longer term needs
- explore whether values, beliefs or work-life balance need re-establishing/re-inventing,
- reveal where new and motivating opportunities are likely to be,
- show how to explore and then pursue these as well as what to say to other people.
Each CREP is tailored to the individual but usually combines a month of e-coaching, a Career Review and a Personal Career Programme. Employer funding is sometimes available.
